Weekly Newsletter - Killer idea I just thought of on Sunday night

Last Saturday (July 10) my son and I went to visit my dad in Marin County where I grew up.  While I was there my step mom shared with me all the new things she was learning to do on her Mac computer.  She is not a technology expert yet she was blowing me away with all the cool stuff she could do on her Mac.

I was especially interested in what she created when she was showing me her presentation she created in a program called Keynote.  One of the things she showed me was a slide show she created with photos from her trip to Paris.  While the slide show was on great music was playing in the background.

This gave me a really cool idea that is super easy to implement.  I took action on the idea last night.  This idea will help you achieve ANY goal.

The idea is to create a slide show using PowerPoint or Keynote.  Put images or text of what you want on the PowerPoint slides.  For example if you want a 4 bedroom home free and clear put that text on one of the PowerPoint slides and then insert in a picture of a 4 bedroom house.

Last night, in a matter of minutes, I was able to create a very basic slide show of my goals.  When I got to my office this morning I began my day with the slide show of my goals.  While the slide show played I put on some great music from Itunes.  So I watched the slide show while listening to great music.

Let me know your thoughts on this idea in the comment section below.  Also indicate if you are going to take action on the idea in your comment.

Happy Selling,

Eric

    Great idea Eric.

Keynote can turn that into a video for you automatically.

    Powerful idea.

  2. You can take this idea to the next level with "MemoriesOnWeb" slideshow freeware. Yes the price is right, $0. This software lets you incorporate images, special effects, text, and music for your slideshow. And the slideshow can be any length you want, no limits. It's way cool!!!

Another way to use this technology is to market your business online. You can see some examples here. It is super effective and sets your business apart from the competition.

That is a wonderful tool for starting the day and especially finishing it. You are stimulating your sensory experience which we all know create feelings which we all know make us take action and therefor achieve the desired results.

I want to add here what you already teaching.
    Consistency is the Key!!

When we do this on a regular basis, day after day, night after night our brain engraves the images, sounds and feelings and therefore it is easier to achieve the desired outcome (more than trying without the sensory experience).

I more than just like it. It is working smart with our beautiful minds to achieve the things that we desire.

I have been doing slide shows to music for real estate marketing. I do neighborhoods, interiors, points of interest, etc. It's great fun. I really like the idea of incorporating dreams as well. Am going to work on that, and thank you again for all the great input into my life.

There is something better, but a little more involved to put together, but well worth it - Mind Movie!

  6. Eric - that's a great idea. PJ Van Hulle also shared a similar idea where you drag photos into MS Movie Maker, add titles and a soundtrack and you have a video of your goals. I've got mine ready on my desktop.

I was just working on "Mental Rehersals" By Dr. Arlene Taylor (The Brain Guru)...at the last seminar she taught that ...

"If You Can See It, You can Achieve it!"
A 3 week study found only a 1% difference in improvement between an actual rehearsal and a mental rehearsal! "In the terms of brain activity patterns it didn't matter whether the experience was actual or virtual! Human beings usually end up doing what they spend time thinking about and seeing! What you see is what you get!" Dr. Arlene Taylor via IMPaX WORLD newsletter.

    Thank you Eric!!!!

    Eric,

Love the idea!! How ironic. When I was in Tahoe 2 weeks ago, my nephew had his Mac and created a slide show of the entire family vacation from jetskiing, kyacking to rope climbing and added all the music with all the pictures I had taken. I admit, I'm a picture junkie. I immediately thought, this would be great to do after a seminar event like yours and post it. It's one of my goals when I get back on my feet...ha ha

  10. I think the slide show + your favorite music is a great idea, I think it heightens and slightly intensifies the level(s) of focus and visualization regarding goals. .
